Some of the presentations included case studies on successful implementation of Vocational Training Program of a Korean Online College, use of Open, Education, and Resources (OER) in the delivery of distance learning programs in Korea’s Higher Education during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

Participants learnt about the Korean unique model that facilitates partnerships between academic institutions and private sectors companies to develop demand-driven TVET programs. The model had allowed development of blended vocational training program that involves 2 years of TVET training after high school before students join university which guarantees them employment upon completion of their studies.
