As part of EASTRIP capacity building program, Hawassa Polytechnic College organized a two-weeks training workshop on Computer Aided Pattern Making (CAD).
The training was conducted, from 24th September to 14th October 2020, in partnership with Ethiopian Textile Industry Development Institute (ETIDI), one of the leading training institutes in textile and garment technology, at their training facility in Addis Ababa.

The training included Adobe Photoshop illustration for four trainers from the Textile Department. The training was carried out by four assigned highly qualified and certified professionals.
Participants received certificates from ETIDI at a colourful event held at the end of the training program. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Director General, the Vice Dean, Hawassa Polytechnic College, Mr Melese Dedamo and the Director General, ETIDA, Yared Mesfin.
