Arusha Technical College (ATC) in collaboration with Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) conducted a female sensitization campaign to increase female enrollment of female students in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The campaign event took place at Arusha Technical College main campus this March whereby alumni women of Arusha Technical College who currently are employed to Tanesco visited the College; the Arusha Regional Commissioner Mr. John Mongela was the guest of honor who gave an inspirational speech to female students of Arusha region.
“Let me inspire you ladies for this true testimony that you have got here from successful women of TANESCO that is of crucial value that other ladies never get, they are studying but don’t have true examples to witness, I would like all female students studying at this College to take this testimony as a motivation to achieve your goals” said RC Mongela.
