Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) was officially handed over land in Rwatama, Teso North under the Constituencies Development Fund. A courtesy call was paid to the Governor, Dr.Paul Otuoma ,Busia County and the delegation from KIHBT was led by the Director Eng.Maurice Nabende .The potential areas of collaboration were discussed. The institute intends to renovate the existing buildings on the site, acquire infrastructure that shall host the classrooms, offices and initial key facilities required. The campus shall be a training site for Highway related programs.
