Dire Dawa Polytechnic College conducts training on Action Research for A Level Teachers

Dire Dawa Polytechnic College, EASTRIP Project Implementation Unit in collaboration with the Ethiopian Technical Institute organized a capacity building training on action research for 60 A level teachers/trainers (8 Female) from the College and Non-project Cluster TVET/Ethio-Italy Polytechnic College. 

The main objective of the training is to contribute towards whole TVET improvement by encouraging and assisting teachers to conduct action research as a means of effecting positive social and educational change. The training aims to effect improvement in the professional practice of teachers/trainers as the process of conducting action research has been shown to have positive consequences for the professional development of the participants, as they learn to become more proactive and take responsibility for effecting change.
