Arusha Technical College in Tanzania in student and staff exchange with Kisumu National Polytechnic in Kenya

Arusha Technical College (ATC) in Tanzania and Kisumu National Polytechnic in Kenya have exchanged staff and students as part of the implementation of EASTRIP Project which is funded by the World Bank.

A total of twenty-five (25) students studying Renewable Energy and two (2) Staff from Arusha Technical College have been sent to Kisumu National Polytechnic in Kenya for a one Month training in electrical and hydropower, electrical and wind, electrical and solar, electrical and bio- energy and ICT fields.

On the other hand, twenty-five (25) students and one (1) Staff from Kisumu National Polytechnic have arrived at Arusha Technical College for one Month training in Mechanical, Automotive and Electrical Engineering fields.

This exchange will not only enable the two institutions to share skills and experiences but also will allow to utilize the available potential resources to cover the skills gap between them.

A group of fifty (50) students from both ATC and KNP together with their at Namanga One Stop Boarder Post (OSBP) in Tanzania.
