The project management training for was conducted at Mzumbe University, Dar es Salaam Campus for staff in Project Implementation Unit. The aim of the training was to give the PIU staff overall understanding of the EASTRIP project while equipping them with skills in project management. The Training covered monitoring and evaluation, evaluation methods in line with project, designing monitoring and evaluation systems, M&E data management, data collection tools and techniques. PIU learned M&E results use and dissemination including M&E reporting format, M&E result communication strategies and Impact assessment. After the training, PIU visited Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant.
