KIHBT trains 20 Regional participants from Somalia on Labour Based Technology

The participants were drawn from engineers and administrators who gained both theoretical and practical knowledge on Labor Based Technology (LBT) in Road Construction, Rehabilitation Technology, practical training exercises in gravel and low volume seal roads with demonstrations and contract management and administration. The training aimed at impacting skills for implementation in their country.

The regional Cooperation and collaboration by the governments of  Japan, Somali and Kenya is aimed at advancing human capacity development and improving the livelihoods of the people of Somali through labour-based programs.
