Quality control on Polo Shirts in production at Hirdaramani Garments
Cooperative training system refers to delivery of technical and vocational education and training that combines industry and college training. Hawassa Polytechnic College has linked a total of 53 level two trainees for cooperative training and of those 43 are women. The trainees are from Intermediate Apparel Production occupation (garment departments) and are attending their training at Hirdaramani Garments and Hela Indochina Apparel PLC in Hawassa Industrial Park. The two companies are from Southeast Asia and have earned a global reputation as some of the best in the garment sector.

Prior to the training, representatives from Hirdaramani Garments and Hela Indochina Apparel PLC provided detailed orientation to the trainees about personal discipline required, working hours and other important safety measures to be considered during their stray at the industry. The trainees will be expected to attend their training for forty-five days in areas of sewing, quality control, production supervision and garment technician.
