DIT Mwanza in Tanzania and Ethiopia Technical University conduct staff exchange

As part of the implementation of a collaborative agreement between The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) Mwanza Campus and Ethiopia Technical University (ETU), the two institutions exchanged staff for one month.

Mr. Leonard P. Mayunga and Evason S. Santa, staff at DIT Mwanza were sent to the Ethiopia Technical University for one month. During the period of exchange programme, they were able to teach, learn and perform technical work in workshops ETU in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Under the same arrangement, DIT Mwanza Campus received three academic staff from Ethiopia Technical University (ETU). The staff were Kassahun Z. Asresie, Weldeyesus W. Bekele and Gebrehiwot A. Gebrekidan and they participated the exchange program at DIT Mwanza Campus for one month.

During their stay in Mwanza Campus, they taught students of DIT Mwanza Diploma in Leather Products Technology. The areas covered were leather garments, specifically leather coats, sports shoes and handbags. Staff DIT Mwanza Campus were able to learn these new technologies from the guests.
