DIT Mwanza and FTI Ethiopia sign cooperation agreement for staff exchange

Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) Mwanza Campus and the Federal Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Institute in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in staff exchange programmes. The partnership will go a long way in contributing towards increased regional mobility of both students and teaching students as stipulated in the Project Appraisal Document (PAD).

As part of implementing the MoU, two (2) Assistant Lecturers, Ms Liya Shawel and Mr Girum Ketema from Federal TVET Institute undertook a one-month attachment at DIT Mwanza Campus in Mwanza, Tanzania. The lecturers covered academic activities, including, but not limited to, lecturing and attending practical sessions to Diploma students on Footwear modules, review of new curricular and training of entrepreneurs.
