
Dire Dawa Polytechnic College, on 7th October, 2020, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dire Dawa University Institute of Technology (DDIT), to serve as a hub for a railway network of partners’ institutions including academic and industry partners.
The Dean of Dire Dawa Polytechnic College (DDPTC), Mr Beharudin Yusuf and Scientific Directors of Dire Dawa University, Institute of Technology (DDIT), Dr. Merhawit Birehane signed the MoU on behalf of their institutions.
The primary objective of the MoU is to create a means for cooperation between the partners to enhance research, training and technology transfer.
The MoU, which was developed in participatory manner, will be implemented in the next four years and will involve a collaborative partnership where each party contributes to the EASTRIP project outcomes.
