In order to in develop demand-driven programs through establishing partnership with the Ethio-Djibouti Railway (EDR), Dire Dawa Polytechnic College conducted consultative meeting with the EDR management team.
During the meeting session policy direction, Concept on innovative TVET, and Description of the EASTRIP project was presented, the EDR management team visited the college training facilities and finally the college and EDR agreed to sign MoU, to develop curriculum together, to employ the college’s graduates and to strength the partnership in sustainable manner.

The implementation of this activity is also a preparation work to develop demand-driven programmes. Therefore, the partnership establishment and the sustainable attachment with EDR will results the achievement of EASTRIP Intermediate Result as well as Disbursement Linked Indicators.
