Contract agreement signed with the winning firm for procuring automotive training equipment

According to the international tender issued earlier by Kombolcha Polytechnic College for purchasing automotive workshop & laboratory equipment, a contract agreement has recently been signed between the winning company known as De Lorenzo and Kombolcha Polytechnic College.
Mr Melaku Aragaw, Dean of Kombolcha Polytechnic College, signed the contract agreement on behalf of the college.

Among the 9 bidders that came to bid for Lot 1, the winning firm, De Lorenzo, an Italian company, delegated the sole agent to sign the agreement on its behalf. Careful scrutiny on the genuineness and legality of the exclusive agent assigned by the firm has been made by considering the rules and guidelines of the country and the World Bank. After doing this, the two parties were able to carry out the contract agreement. It was signed with availability of many observers.

The contract spells out the terms on which the supplier agrees to purchase and deliver the equipment as per the requests and demands of the college.

The firm will purchase 81 types (33 items) of automotive shop and laboratory equipment with a total budget of Euro 676,735 which is approximately equal to ETB 40,096,548 (forty million ninety six thousand five hundred and forty eight Birr).

It is said that the supplier or the winning firm is expected to procure all the necessary training and laboratory equipment and hand over them to the college within six months of purchase.

Previously, It is quite known, De Lorenzo delivered several garment and electricity training equipment to Kombolcha Polytechnic College.
