Arusha Technical College (ATC) is conducting short professional trainings in solar energy at its newly established Solar Training Centre at the main campus. The main purpose of the centre is to train the next generation of renewable energy professionals.
The training Centre Coordinator Mr. Urbanus Melkior calls upon the youth to utilize the opportunity to attend the training offered by the Centre to cope with world’s science and technological changes in renewable energy.
“I call upon the young stars to take advantage of the affordable cost trainings offered by our experts at the centre, the world is now changing to renewable energy,” Mr. Melkior said.

He elaborated that “we receive students from many regions in our country including, Tanga, Bukoba, Manyara and others from Zanzibar, we insist them to continue coming because we are capable of accommodating them” Urbanus elaborated.
On the other hand, the ATC solar training Centre Manager Mr. Emmanuel Kassi said that a total of 255 students have graduated since the establishment of the Centre.
“We have trained a total of 255 students since the establishment of the centre and we wish to train more students in order to produce many renewable energy experts” said Mr. Kassi.
