In an effort to increase female enrolment in TVET courses, DIT Mwanza Campus staff members joined DIT Main Campus staff members in visiting Southern Highlands schools in Tanzania mainland regions, including, Lindi, Mtwara, Songea, Njombe, Mbeya and Iringa regions.

In the visit, a total of 26 female secondary schools were reached and 2,252 secondary school girls interacted with our staff in the six regions. The main focus was to sensitize female students to have a positive impact on their views about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
